Having taken some time off to focus on their sound, SPLASHH are finally back with their sophomore album, Waiting A Lifetime. They’ve just dropped the video to the title track and it’s a brilliant new direction for the Australia-via-London band. The video, directed by Toto Vivian, features flick book style gifs and stills from the band’s tours of years gone past. It’s certainly fitting, and the track itself feels as though the band have gone back to their musical roots with a scuzzy, raw-edged sound and some super fun melodies. The track was recorded in Brooklyn where the band spent time reworking old tracks with Nicholas Vernhes, known for his work with The War On Drugs. If this is the sign of things to come then SPLASHH’s sophomore album, due out on April 14^th, is set to be a cracker. -HM
